The Bruin Show Ep. 1: UCLA loses to Oregon, head coach still wanted

In our inaugural first podcast about the UCLA Bruins, the Sons of Westwood discusses a plethora of UCLA topics, including the following:

  • A breakdown of UCLA football’s loss to Oregon. The score was 49-31, but how close was it really? Plus, Kevin Prince’s hits, an inspired UCLA defense, vigor and adversity-defeating signs of hope for our beloved football program, and why we are proud of our Bruins tonight.
  • UCLA is still in need of a head coach. How the hell can Athletic Director Dan Guerrero be screwing this up? Plus, how we’re feeling about Chris Petersen, our thoughts on Kevin Sumlin, and more.
  • The legacy (or lack thereof) of Rick Neuheisel’s tenure as coach, and why he is still a True Bruin in every respect. We’ll miss him but not bad enough to want to coach again. (Hey, we need a QB coach, no?)
  • A quick introduction to the Sons of Westwood and our podcasting format.

UCLA Athletics is where it’s at, and we just want to talk about our Bruins. So sit back, relax, and talk some U-C-L-A with us, OK?
